FullyBooked relocated
i loooooove the new fully booked in rockwell. lumipat sila dun sa taas, sa dating DISH, and it's the biggest fully booked to date, i think, even bigger than the one that just opened in greenhills [and i thought that was big!] . Went there last Wednesday after staging a mini escapade with tec to makati to catch a manga sale at Makati Cinema Square (poor wallet ... but i just had to have every five star stories that i can lay my hands on, oh! and throw in the 2 volumes of Man with 20 faces while am at it). Anyway, we headed out to FullyBooked after that. I told myself before that I'm not buying new books until I get to read the ones at home that I haven't read yet, but well that promise went out the window the minute I stepped in. I grabbed Alan Moore's "Watchmen" since I've been meaning to buy that one for a long time now and the multiple, bright, red on yellow copies were beckoning me, how could I say no? Then there was the copy of Peter Beagle's Last Unicorn. I have reserved that one sa Gateway branch but since they have it here I snatched it up immediately. Add to that Charles de Lint's "Harp of the Grey Rose" and I was off to the cashier with a silly grin on my face. I have always been curious about Charles De Lint ever since I read his work in the mythical anthology "Green Man". I also saw a couple of works by Dianna Wynne Jones (the writer of Howl's Moving Castle) She mostly writes about Wizards and magical things and some people even say she precedes (and is not yet superseded by) Rowling in that respect. Anyway, I managed to stop myself from getting more books even if I wanted to find out more about her writing. There'll be another time....
It would be bliss if I can stay there overnight and read every book that I can lay my hands on, heheh~
